Waiting

Waiting

Waiting for you
Dear, to come –
… Oh, the times we’ve had
Oh, the dreams we shared
Waiting for reasons to fill in –
While Heart gets into musing
We lose them into voids

Waiting over at
The table –
Without, cups of coffee
Yeah, so long, I’ve waited …
Waiting for the dreams to die away
After you’d decided
Not to come, not to be mine

Waiting over cups
Of coffee –
You liked it with cream
And I liked it black –
Waiting for words to make sense –
For life to make some sense,
I lose reason to live

Waiting for me
To return –
From dreaming about you,
Those words said in hush
Waiting for those hands to hold mine
…The way you walked back
Without kissing goodbye

Yellow is the name of the Song

Yellow is the name of the Song

A certain song that I used to know …

In a certain way, that it used to be sung,

I felt it play all over again, in my mind,

Why? Or, haven’t I had, left them all behind?

A song that I taught myself to sing …

I sang it day and night, sang it along,

With all those whom I knew, I felt,

Once, it take a life its own, and left me behind.

I feel taken, through the pastures all over again,

That I promised myself that I’d not return,

Ever to … but, I think, return I should.

The why is a thing, I’d have to make as I go…

So, I’m inching, speeding and inching again,

With a fistful of fragmented afterthoughts,

That I’d kept away. This morning, as I opened

Up the table-drawers , a yellow breeze did flow in …

From somewhere, I hope not, that it was from within.

Dedication: For Sindy, …if this’d lift her spirits .

Walking the Ways

2942833837_3a860253b4[1]

Take my hand in yours
And we’ll walk
Like the road shall never bend
Like the day shall never end

Love, O’ With you I’ll walk

Tell me this isn’t a dream
Painted in black and white,
O’ I know this isn’t but just to be sure dear love,
Will you?

Don’t look back
For your sadness –
It’ll dishearten me ever more.

Take my heart with you
And we’ll talk
Like the heart isn’t ever empty
Any way with you let me be
Love, O’ With you I’ll talk

Tell me this is forever …
Love shall begin to speak
Catching up with rain’s rhythm, hum a tune for me,
Will you?

Don’t look away
Like in distress
I want this to feel like before.

Slur

241620406_0d1047fb92[1]

I see him beckoning. Death’s calling.
And I must go,
Leave let leave – Let us go,
Soul aye, you’re free now –
Untrapped.

Destined to die,
Destined to dream,
Destined to die again …
Love is the mirage,
That I left behind.

Comrade, you come with me if you’ll,
I need someone to speak to
When I’m lone.

Light is the road ahead,
Darkness …that is dead.

Eventhough, gods speak silence,
Somehow in that slurring silence
My prayers do rest.

Let me go in silence. Breath’s bottled.
And let me not,
Speak from my tomb – oh I,
May never know my World …
In whole enough.

Destined to die,
Destined to dream,
Destined to die again …
Heart is the image,
That I left behind.

Upon Breaths, lullabies seem to stand still,
Hey, would someone be crying
When I’m gone?

The words have been said,
The lines have been read

Like no one‘ll notice my absence,
Footprints wipe themselves away and
I’ll return to dust
